VISALIA, California (August 26, 2020) – Hellwig Suspension Products, an industry-leading manufacturer of towing, hauling and performance suspension products, has released new helper springs for the 2020 Toyota Tundra, including two-wheel and four-wheel-drive models. The helper springs feature 2,000-pound load-leveling capacity and are designed to maintain level ride height and better overall driver control when the vehicle is loaded.
 
Powered by a 5.7-liter V8 producing 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque, the Tundra is a popular choice in the half-ton segment. When towing a heavy trailer or hauling hefty cargo, the rear end starts to sag, adversely affecting driver control and safety. Hellwig’s load-leveling helper springs improve vehicle control and safety by maintaining even weight distribution over the front and rear axles.
 
The EZ-990 helper springs for the 2020 Toyota Tundra (P/N 976) are a single-leaf design and are rated for up to 2,000 pounds of load-leveling capacity. Users can adjust load support as needed with the adjustable U-bolts. The helper springs feature Hellwig’s signature hammertone powder coat for durability and can be installed using simple hand tools.
