Hellwig’s newly released rear sway bar for the 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 with dual rear wheels increases driver control and improves vehicle safety.

Visalia, Calif. (September, 2019) – Hellwig Products, an industry leading manufacturer of towing, hauling and performance suspension products, has released an upgraded rear sway bar for the 2019 Mercedes- Benz Sprinter 3500. This upgraded rear sway bar will improve handling dynamics and driver control during daily commuting and towing and hauling situations.

The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter has long been revered for its versatility, in class tow and haul capabilities and has been the chassis of choice for RV conversions. While the new Sprinter is very capable, it comes equipped from the factory with undersized sway bars, causing the van to have decreased steering control and excess body roll, especially when hauling heavy loads, towing or after converting to an RV interior. Hellwig’s upgraded rear sway bar offers a dramatic reduction in body roll/lateral sway when entering a corner and allows the driver to feel more confident when towing. This is especially ideal for RV conversions which, in addition to heavier loads, have a higher center of gravity.

Hellwig’s Sprinter 3500 rear sway bar (P/N 7777) is forged from solid 1 1/2-inch diameter, heat treated 4140 Chromoly steel bar stock and is finished in Hellwig’s signature “Hammertone” powder coat to prevent corrosion and wear under even the toughest conditions. This rear sway bar fits the 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with dual rear wheels in both rear- and 4-wheel drive configurations, but will not fit front-wheel drive applications. The larger diameter Hellwig rear sway bar replaces the undersized factory bar, reuses factory end links and comes with heavy duty polyurethane bushings for additional durability.

Hellwig sway bars can be installed in a few hours with simple hand tools, come with all necessary parts and hardware, are made in the USA and come with a Lifetime Warranty on all steel parts. For more information on Hellwig’s Sprinter 3500 rear sway bar, visit www.HellwigProducts.com
